Our Story
Cup of Joey began with a simple question: "What if we connected over our passions instead of our professions?"
Our founder, Joey, noticed a gap in traditional networking events. People were swapping business cards, but rarely exchanging ideas that truly mattered to them. He envisioned a place where individuals could come together, share what motivates them, and make connections based on aligned purpose.
What started as informal gatherings over coffee has grown into a movement. Today, Cup of Joey brings together diverse individuals and companies, all united by the belief that understanding our 'why' is the first step to creating impactful connections.
Our story is still being written, with each new member adding their unique flavor to our community. The Cup of Joey Ambassadors collaborate closely with founder, Joey Sanchez, to promote the brand throughout the Houston area, organizing regular and specialty events across the city. Originally all attendees, they were inspired by the CUP of JOEY "Y" and now actively contribute to its expansion and community engagement efforts.
